If you left a security deposit when picking up the vehicle, we return it the moment we confirm that the vehicle has been returned in line with the contract terms.
Here's how it works:
- We receive the vehicle and check its condition.
- If everything is in order, we release the deposit right then.
- The money takes between 24 and 72 hours to reach your account, depending on your card and your bank.
We don't hold your money any longer than necessary. We know that keeping a deposit blocked for weeks is a common bad practice in the industry, and it's not how we work: as soon as we verify the return, the deposit is on its way back to your account.
If after that time you still haven't received your deposit, get in touch with our customer service team and we'll look into it.
Remember that the security deposit applies when paying with a debit card (for cars) and always for cargo vans. With a credit card for cars we don't hold any deposit, so there's nothing to return.
